Are you looking for a holiday camp full of adventure, fun and new friends for your child? Then UP Events Kids is the right place for you! We understand that as a parent you may have many questions about what a day at camp is like, what your child needs and how safety is arranged. That is why we have listed the most frequently asked questions for you. This way you know exactly where you stand and your child can enjoy a great vacation experience without any worries.

When do you organize the camp days?

During the summer vacationautumn vacationspring vacation and May vacation.

What are the start and end times?

For each school vacation camp, the page under ‘daily program’ states what time the children can be dropped off and picked up.

During the upcoming summer camp, children can be dropped off between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. and picked up between 4:45 and 5:15 p.m.

What if I am late for pick-up?

We strictly adhere to the stated times. If you have any questions, please contact us by telephone: 020-3375191.

Where do I book and pay?

You can book directly via this link. You will then receive an e-mail from us with the invoice and a link to pay online.

Can my child come alone?

Yes, of course! Many of the children come alone, so that immediately creates a bond.

I would like to be with my friend in the same group, is that possible?

Yes, of course! On arrival each day, the children can decide for themselves who they would like to be in the group with.

I have booked for 5 days but my child cannot come for 1 day. What should I do?

Send an email to [email protected] and we will find a suitable solution.

Contact by telephone

The UP Events office is always available and is located in Amsterdam-West. Would you like to be contacted during the day? Please let us know.

Food, drink and allergies

At our camps, the children bring their own food and drinks. This consists of: Lunch + snacks for two breaks + a water bottle.

Weather conditions

In warm weather, it is important that the children wear light clothing that they can move around in easily. There is plenty of sunscreen available on site, so the children can reapply as needed.
In colder or rainy weather, it is useful for the children to wear or bring warm clothing and possibly a poncho.

Will the children be leaving the grounds?

No, the grounds are large enough and all activities will take place on the grounds.

Do I need to give my child pocket money?

No, all activities and materials are included, there is nothing else for sale.

Use of cell phones

You can give your child a cell phone. However, we will be actively dispersed throughout the site all day, so we will ask the children to leave their cell phones in the common room.
In addition, we believe that making friends is easier when the focus is entirely on the activities. So if possible, leave the phone at home.

If you urgently need to speak to your children, the office can be reached.

Use of medication

Our employees are not authorized to administer medication, with the exception of life-threatening situations. You are welcome to share any special circumstances with us.

Insurance

UP Events has good business liability insurance. If you wish, you can take out travel and cancellation insurance yourself.

What are the General Terms and Conditions?

We use the Vebon General Terms and Conditions. These have also been sent to you by email.

What do you do with lost property?

We keep it for a month after the last day of the camp, so please check every day to make sure you have everything. And if you miss something after the holiday camp, send us an email and come pick it up at UP as soon as possible 😉
